A lifelong dream come true.
Hello! I’m glad you’re here.
My name is Eric Jones Jr and I've been playing baseball for 22 years across many levels and organizations: NCAA Division I (Davidson College), Minor League Baseball for the Minnesota Twins and the Seattle Mariners, Independent professional baseball in the USPBL, Frontier, and Atlantic Leagues. Currently, I’m in my 4th year of playing for the Savannah Bananas.
As a coach, I was a bullpen catcher for the Seattle Mariners MLB team in 2022, which meant I participated in pitching and catching meetings and truly got to see firsthand how the game is played at the highest level. I have head-coached 15u and 11u travel teams, and have run camps and private lessons for years.
Baseball has always been a major part of my life, and now I'm looking to pass on the knowledge I've acquired over my career to help as many up-and-coming players as possible. The lessons I've learned will help you or your player accelerate their career to the next level.
Everyone has heard the saying ‘practice makes perfect’, but in reality, there's much more to it than that. Perfect practice makes perfect, and the techniques which you practice are the separator in making your practice time elevate you from your peers.
At every level, I have found success. From being 2-time Davidson College player of the year, to having over a .300 Batting average in Minor league ball, being named to the all-decade team in my independent league, and now being the all-time home run leader for the Savannah Bananas.
I know that success always looks different based on the individual and their circumstances. From basic fundamentals, to catching the ball under your legs or behind your back, I have experience training all levels of athletes and aim to create a personalized experience to help each athlete stand out with their skills and achieve their goals.
